The George is one of the oldest Beer houses or Inns in Chipping Sodbury and is recorded as being a grand hostelry used by Pilgrims for overnight accommodation as long ago as 1439.

The George now boasts The Rendezvous Café Bar & Restaurant serving. high quality food prepared, presented & served with style with your selection, from our extensive menu, being freshly prepared for you.

The Rendezvous stocks a large selection of fine wines to compliment your meal served by the bottle or by the glass. We serve the best freshly ground coffee in town! Enjoy a Latte, Espresso or Cappuccino in a relaxed atmosphere. Cream Teas available daily, large range of pastries & cakes. You can even pre order by telephone or fax to have your meal ready on your arrival! A full take away service is also available.
